Debra Sue Simmons

Debra Sue Simmons, 61, of Meeker, OK passed away on June 23, 2013 at Integris Baptist Medical Center due to complications of liver disease. Debra was born on December 4, 1951 to the late Sophia and James Floyd Elder in Oklahoma City, OK.

Debra graduated from Midwest City High School in 1970 and attended Rose State University. Debra married Joel Simmons on September 8, 1973 and is the mother of 4 children. Debra was very active in her church, Living Waters Tabernacle in Meeker, OK and a member of the Lincoln County Tea Party. Debra devoted her life to serving Jesus, her family and her friends.

Debra is survived by; husband Joel Simmons, her children Tracey Mobley-Spillars and husband Micheal of Edmond, OK, Stephanie Chrisco and husband Scott of Lockport, IL, Kevin Simmons of Midwest City, OK and Zachary Simmons of the home. Six grand children; Samuel Spillars, Jaclyn Zilinskas, Blake Zilinskas, Kylie Simmons, Emma Simmons and Kameron Simmons, her sister Anita Tackett and brother Joe Gravett. Debra was preceded in death by her brother Charles Gravett.

A life celebration service will be held Saturday June 29, 2013 at Living Waters tabernacle, 341197 W. Highway 62, Meeker, OK, 74855.
