Donald Edward Boland

Donald E. Boland 89, of Midwest City, OK went to his Eternal Reward July 7, 2014. Donald was born June 15, 1925 in Cushing, OK to Allen Scott Boland and Mary Pearl (Rapp) Boland. He graduated from Meeker High School in 1943. Donald served his country during WW II in the Army Air Corps and was a POW in Germany. He retired Civil Service from Tinker Air Force Base. Known as Mr. B, by many friends and neighbors, he stayed very active after retirement. Donald is survived by his son, Allan Boland and wife Sherry of Midwest City, OK; daughter, Shirley Rustad and husband Rick of Bella Vista AR; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lavina Lorraine, son Donald W., and 1 sister Juanita Howell. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Southside Assembly of God Church building fund. Family visitation will be 6–8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
