Donald Eugene Holman, Newalla, entered Heaven on November 30, 2011. He was born September 08, 1945, in Ft. Worth, TX, to William Eugene Holman and Betty Jean (Roberts) Holman, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from McAlester High School and Northeastern Oklahoma State University and was a teacher to numerous students throughout his career, having taught at Shawnee and Bethel Schools. He was a Vietnam Veteran, having served active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1967 and also in the U.S. Naval Reserve for six years. Don loved riding motorcycles and was an avid fan of all types of motorsport racing. He greatly loved his family and is survived by wife, Yolanda Holman, Del City, OK; daughter and son-in-law Tiffany and David Lane, Ada, OK; daughter Lori Lyons and grandchildren Rena, Jesse Eugene and Kelly, Midwest City, OK; a sister and brother-in-law Dianna and Bob Earhart, Hot Springs Village, AR, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th, Del City, Oklahoma
