Donald Ray Lambert passed away on February 7, 2023 surrounded by his family. Donald aka “Don” was born in Guthrie, OK on September 12, 1946 to Donald and Virginia Lambert. Donald was a fun loving kid and spent his early childhood years growing up in Del City, Ok where he attended High School and was also a member of the Del City “D” Club.
After high school he went on to attend Central Oklahoma College now known as the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) where he studied Law. There he was elected Senior Class President of several College groups. One of his proudest moments he would say, was kissing the Homecoming Queen. Donald was an amazing Lawyer for over 30 years working for the State of Oklahoma until his retirement. Besides being a lawyer, he always said that his proudest moment was the birth of his son Brian.
Besides being a member of social groups like the Mason’s where he was a Master Mason, the Acacia Fraternity Advisor, Donald loved music. His music collection varied from Elvis Presley and Lawrence Welk, to Tom Jones. Donald was a fun-loving man who always had a smile to share.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steven Foster Lambert.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Son Brian (Cydne), grandchildren Caleb and Amelia, Sister Sharon Douglas and a host of family and friends.
Donald will surely be missed!
