

Donald Ray Oliphant, age 74 of Midwest City, OK passed away July 8, 2014 in Moore, OK. He was born February 18, 1940 in Anadarko, OK to the union of Howard and Thelma Lena Charlton Oliphant. Donald graduated from Anadarko High School and worked for Kim Ray as a Tool & Die Machinist for 42 years. He loved to play golf, go bowling, coach Little League Baseball and watch his grandchildren play sports. His proudest moments and achievements in life were when his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were born and then seeing the grandchildren graduate from High School. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, William Clark; and brother, Tommy Oliphant; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Oliphant. He was survived by Margaret Loewen who was the love of his life for 33 years; children, Kimberly Treadway of Moore, OK; Kevin Oliphant and wife Vera of Oklahoma City, OK; step-children, Scott Loewen of Atlanta, GA and Carol Jordan of Midwest City, OK.; grandchildren, Scott, Joshua, and Nicolas Treadway, Brionna McCormick, Ashleigh, Devin, and Kaylee Oliphant, Tia Koonce; and Justin Jordan; great grandchildren, Addison and Anakin Treadway, RayShawn McCormick, Kacie Treadway, and Marquin Jackson; 5 nieces and 1 nephew. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday July 11, 2014 in the chapel of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens cemetery.
