March 15, 1956 – September 15, 2026
Donna Marie Brewer, 70, of Oklahoma City, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was born Donna Marie Fuller on March 15, 1956, in Natchez, Mississippi, to Edward Willard Fuller and Nellie Marie McCarty Fuller. She later made Oklahoma City her longtime home.
Donna was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured presence in the lives of her family. Her love was deep, protective, and unwavering. Those fortunate enough to be loved by Donna knew that her love was something they could always count on.
Donna shared a beautiful and lasting love with her husband, Andrew Harold Brewer. When Andrew passed away in 2011, a part of her heart went with him. She never dated or sought another love because, to Donna, Andrew was not simply her husband. He was her one true love. Although they spent the last 15 years apart, she carried him in her heart every day and held tightly to the hope that they would one day be together again.
Donna leaves behind her only child, Andrew Derek Brewer, known to everyone as Derek. The bond between a mother and her only son is unlike any other, and Derek was blessed to know the depth of his mother’s love throughout his life. Derek also kept Donna and Andrew on their toes from the very beginning. The family often joked that Derek was enough of a handful to convince them that one child was plenty. One more Derek, they knew, would have been entirely too much.
Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to Kayla, Olivia, and Andre. She loved all three of them beyond measure and was incredibly proud of each of them. During the final chapter of her life, Andre shared an especially close bond with his grandmother. He gave her strength, purpose, and a reason to keep pushing forward through even the most difficult days.
Donna was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Isaac Jr., and the wonderful news that another great-grandchild is on the way. Although she will not be here to hold this newest addition in her arms, that child will grow up knowing Donna’s name, her story, and the love she had already made room for in her heart.
Donna found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially playing Bingo. She loved the excitement of the game, the familiar faces, and the hope that the next number called might be the one she needed. Bingo brought her joy, laughter, and many wonderful memories.
Donna also leaves behind Melody and her loving partner, Dan. Calling Melody a family member could never fully describe what she meant to Donna. Melody was truly the sister Donna’s heart chose. They shared a closeness built through years of love, trust, understanding, and memories that could only belong to them. Melody was an important part of Donna’s life, someone she held incredibly close, and their sister-like bond was one Donna deeply treasured.
She also leaves behind Tessa and her loving partner, Brad. Donna loved Tessa as the daughter she never had. Tessa was always there for Donna, standing faithfully by her side and sharing a beautiful bond built on love, trust, and devotion. Her presence brought Donna comfort and reassurance, especially during the times she needed it most.
Donna is also survived by Rhiannon and her loving partner, Tim. Rhiannon brought tremendous love and joy into Donna’s life and held a deeply cherished and irreplaceable place in her heart. The connection they shared was uniquely their own, and the love between them will remain long after Donna’s passing.
Donna is also survived by Melody’s brother, Harley.
Donna leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Shane, Jessica, and Denver, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Braden, Kaden, Holden, Aria, Liam, and Aiden. Each of them was part of the family she treasured so dearly.
Donna shared an extraordinary bond with her sister-in-law, Doris, lovingly known to everyone as “Ginny.” Ginny was Andrew’s sister, but to Donna, she became so much more. They were sisters by marriage, best friends by choice, and nearly inseparable throughout their lives. Their friendship was filled with love, loyalty, laughter, and countless memories. Losing Ginny left another deep space in Donna’s heart, and there is comfort in knowing that these two best friends are together once again.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Willard Fuller and Nellie Marie McCarty Fuller; her beloved husband, Andrew Harold Brewer; her brother, Clyde Fuller; her sisters, Sherrie Rowlin and Janice Pickering, lovingly known as “Aunt Jenny”; her cherished sister-in-law and best friend, Ginny; Ginny’s husband, Calvin, affectionately known as “PaPa”; and many other loved ones who went home before her.
Donna knew she held a particularly special place in Clyde’s heart as his favorite sister, and their reunion is surely a joyful one.
While those left behind are heartbroken, there is comfort in knowing that Donna is no longer waiting. She is home now, surrounded by the family she missed so deeply. Most of all, she is finally reunited with Andrew, the love of her life and the man her heart never stopped loving.
After 15 years apart, they are together again.
Donna’s absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her love will remain in the lives of her son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and every person who was blessed to know her. Her family will carry her memory forward through the stories they tell, the laughter they share, and the generations that will continue because of her.
She was deeply loved. She will be endlessly missed. And she will never be forgotten.
She left this world with love behind her and entered Heaven with love waiting for her.
