Donna Elaine Dickson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Elaine Dickson (McMichael), age 72, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on July 25, 2026.

Donna was born on December 9, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Joyce and Jack McMichael. On February 12, 1972, she married the love of her life, Charles Ray Dickson. Together they built a beautiful family and were blessed with three sons, and later a bonus daughter, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Donna was known for her kind heart, her selfless spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley and never turned down sweet tea, Dr Pepper, Pepsi, or her favorite candy bar—a 3 Musketeers. She especially enjoyed gathering the family for trips to Golden Corral and loved spending hours exploring thrift stores in search of hidden treasures.

Nothing brought Donna more happiness than being surrounded by her grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent watching The Aristocats and Pinocchio over and over again, playing board games, being silly, and making them laugh. She always put others before herself, making sure everyone felt loved, cared for, and happy. No matter what challenges life brought, Donna always gave her very best.

Donna is lovingly survived by her sons, Michael (Kendra) Dickson, Mark Dickson, Matthew Dickson, and bonus daughter Laurie (Jordan) Simmons.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Keaton Cotton; Alexander and Emma Dickson; Lainey Dickson; Jainey Diggs; Caitlin Dickson; Colton Dickson; Trinity McKinney; Jordan Dickson; and Preslee Simmons

Her great-grandchildren include Adeline, Keaton Jr., Corey, and Ensley.

Donna is also survived by her stepchildren: Cheryl (Elmer) Humphrey; Mary Jo (Les) Foster; Tommy Dickson.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Ray Dickson; her parents, Joyce and Jack McMichael; her sister, Moira McMichael; her stepson, Charlie Dickson Jr.; and her dear friend Hiawatha Jimenez.

Donna will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Though she is no longer with us, her love, laughter, and the countless memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
