Donny Ray Choate was born November 3, 1944, to James and Grace Choate, in El Reno, Oklahoma. He passed away December 30, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Donny touched the lives of those around him in profound and meaningful ways.
In 1973, he married Patricia, and they were married for 50 years. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Donny served his country in the U.S. Army as a drill sergeant. He then retired from TAFB, as sheet metal supervisor.
Donny is survived by his wife Patricia, children; Crystal May and husband Terry, kids, Brooks May, Kaleb May and wife Summer and son Everett, Cole Vannoy, and daughter Bella, son, Donny Choate, Jr. and his wife Sunny, kids Kendall and Connor Choate, Melissa Parker and her husband Stacey, kids, Joseph Price and wife Amanda, kids, William, Elyza and Noah, Kaleb Price, Emily and husband Ross, kids, Rhett and Stevie, Suzanne Arceneaux and her husband Dean, kids, Colten and Chelsea Brooks, husband Donald, son, Porter Brooks,one brother, Bill Choate and wife Teresa, one sister, Grace Martin and husband Phil.
Donny was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Choate, grandsons; William Young, James Arceneaux, great-grandson, Carson Brooks, and great-granddaughter Laney Brooks.
