Doris later moved to Del City, Oklahoma where she attended and graduated from Douglas High School before moving onto Rose State College where she attained a degree in Accounting. She was later married and had a daughter, Camille Marie Crook. Doris was employed by Old Germany Restaurant where she worked as a chef until she went into the hotel business for a while where she managed several large hotels. She later went back into the restaurant business until she retired in 2020.
Doris had a big heart and she will always be remembered for her sweet disposition and her truly unselfish nature. She always put family first and was the rock that kept the family together. Doris was always helping others and lifting up them up in spite of any personal issues that might be going on with her. No matter what kind of day she was having she was always smiling that wonderful smile and giving people the encouragement they needed to move forward in their day. She was a great mom, a super-hero grandmother and the most caring and supportive person to each and every one of her friends. She was loved by many and will never know the true impact that she had on those around her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Carlton Schwan, Sr., step-mother Billie Ann Schwan and step-brother Leo (Pepe) Ramos, Jr.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Camille Crook, of Harrah, OK; her parents, Leo and Adelina Ramos of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Anthony Ramos and wife Mandy, Randy Ramos and wife Veronica, both of San Antonio, Texas; and Carlton Schwan, Jr. of Earlsboro, OK; two sisters, Gloria Alonso and husband Javier of San Antonio and Linda Ramos; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
