

Earl Richard Lorenz, Jr. was born on August 9, 1946 in OKC, and died on March 2, 2026. Earl was his mother's Favorite Son and only Son. He had 3 Sisters: LeAnna, Mary Beth and Liesal. He graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1964. Earl served in the U.S Army. He loved to fly and became a Pilot Instructor. He worked at the State of Oklahoma DHS as a computer programmer.
Earl met his wife, which worked with his sister through them sharing rides. She worked at the Dept. of Transportation, a nearby building. Earl and Deona Hendrix married Friday the 13th of Aug. 1971. They had 2 children, Digee and Hal and 2 Grandchildren, Michael and Brittany. He enjoyed time with them and had 54 wonderful years with his wife. He was a Christian and loved the church serving the Lord as a Yokefellow and Sound Engineer and loved talking about Jesus.
Earl enjoyed vacations and spending time with family. He especially loved amusement parks and zoos. Earl retired from the State, then worked for the Okla. Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy and in the office in Dispatch, then in Evidence, Supplies and Inventory before retirement. Earl really enjoyed life and enjoyed all the good times. We all will miss him.
Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on March 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on March 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
