Edward Leon Potter, 65, passed away August 21, 2010. He was born August 28, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to Burl and Lucille (Oliver) Potter. Edward loved his family and friends and also enjoyed traveling and fishing and his dog, Buddy Rub. He had a great heart and would help anyone. He never met a stranger. Edward was a welder and retired from Barrett Trailers. He loved taking care of lawns and started his own business, Southwest Lawn Care. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters: Paula Miller, Michelle (Shelly) Matthews, Phyllis Tedesco, Joyce Curnett, and Andie Millsap; son, Marvin Nail; 8 grandchildren: Dustin Miller, little David Matthews, Parker Millsap, Shelby Millsap, David Curnett, Roy Curnett, Angie Tedesco; sister, Phyllis Kiplinger, mother-in-law, Beth Pritchett; Tracy King, whom he always thought of as a daughter; Russell Landahl, whom he thought of as a son; aunt, Jackie Chavez, and husband, Billy and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wives, Theda Potter and Barbara Ann Pritchett, and grandson, Erik Curnett. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Sunny Lane Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
