Obituary of Eleanor Frances Anderson
Eleanor Frances Anderson was born on March 11, 1935 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Frank and Addie Moreno. She entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2022 in Oklahoma City. Frances is survived by her husband Vernon S. Anderson of the home; children, Richard Anderson of Okmulgee, OK, Leslie Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Anderson of Washington DC, Susan Anderson of Edmond, OK, and Karen Reed of Norman; brother, Eugene Moreno & spouse Tina of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 20 nieces and 20 nephews. Frances is preceded in death by her brothers Lawrence Moreno, Curtis Moreno, and Earl Vernon Moreno and sisters, Mercy Mary Haag and Cecilia Helen Castro. Frances had a Bachelor’s in Economics and an Associate degree in fashion from the University of Oklahoma. She was a professional seamstress, a dress designer, a business owner, and an avid Thunder fan. Frances’ faith was of upmost importance, she was a member of the United Methodist Church and part of the UMC division of Religion and Race and was proud of her Choctaw/Mexican descent. She was also a member of the Central Oklahoma Quilters Guild and a 4-H award and winning cookbook producer. Our beloved wife and mother, Eleanor Frances, will always be remembered by her faith in God, her kind heart and her infectious laugh. Her love and light will never be extinguished.
