Esther Helen Bickford

Esther Helen Bickford, 70 of Midwest city, OK passed away on May 15, 2015. Esther was born September 6, 1944 to Sam and Ruth Rodgers in Iowa City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylen F. Bickford and both of her parents. She is survived by her son, Derek Bickford of the home, Darin Bickford and wife Cindy of Tacoma, Washington, her sister Elnora Smith and husband Stan of Iowa City, Iowa and sister-in-law Marlis Blankenship of LaVale, Maryland. Esther is also survived by grandsons Jeremy, Zachery, Dakota and Jordan. She is also survived by many neices, nephews and friends. Esther retired from Integris Baptist Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Midwest City . After serving on staff of the Midwest City Area-Wide Mobile Meals Ministry for several years, Esther became the coordinator for the last 4 years until she became ill. Her faithful service will always be remembered. Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church Midwest City with Interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
