Eva Sosa Almanza was born on December 17, 1939 in Los Indios Rancho, Texas to Amado Sosa and Simona Gonzales. Eva earned her GED and went on to become a Certified Nurse Aide and spent many years as a home health provider and caregiver.
She enjoyed many things such as dancing, crocheting, word finds, sketching and drawing, cooking, bowling, sewing, going to the casino, playing cards and dominos, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. You could often find her watching AMC Classic movies, Wheel of Fortune, the Price is Right, various soap operas and telenovelas. Eva was able to visit many places like New Mexico, Hawaii, California, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, Arizona, many places in Mexico, including Cancun. For her 80th birthday she celebrated big by traveling to New York City with two of her daughters touring the city's highlights. They visited Rockefeller Plaza and were part of the Today's Show outdoor audience. She even visited Graceland and Grand Canyon. Eva was a big fan of Elvis Presley and John Wayne. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the worked with the Knights of Columbus. Eva carried her children closely in her heart.
Eva is preceded in death by her Father: Amado Sosa, Mother: Simona Gonzales, Sons: William F. Serowski Jr. and Jim Tidmore; Brothers: Amado Sosa and wife, Linda Sosa, Tomas Navarro and wife, Sarah Navarro, Manual Martinez and wife, Maria Martinez, and one Sister: Celia Delgado.
She will always live on through her children: Rosemary Montoya and husband, Juan, Tony Serowski, Lewis Tidmore Jr., Karen Ellyson and husband, Robert, Larry Tidmore, Adan Pichardo and wife, Nina Hernandez, Eva Yolanda Jiminez and husband Efrain, daughter-in-law, Amanda Tidmore, god daughter, Alicia Varnell, brother, Jacinto Delgado, 29 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
