

Frank Daniel Morozoff, Sr. was born in Cleveland Ohio on June 23, 1922, and passed away on January 17, 2014, in Oklahoma City at the age of 91. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and admired him.
Frank is preceded in death by Lillian, his wife of 59 years; his parents Demian and Martha, who were immigrants from Russia and Hungary; his brother George; and his son-in-law Gene Ferguson. He is survived by his daughter Donna Wimberly and husband Robert; son Frank D. Morozoff, Jr.; daughter Patti Ferguson; daughter Susan Davis; daughter Carri Foster and husband Gary; and son Scott Morozoff and wife Per. Frank was the proud and devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Frank Daniel Morozoff, Sr., was a distinguished member of America’s “Greatest Generation,” having served honorably in the Army Air Corp during WWII. After being drafted into service, Frank graduated at the top of his class at the military radio/radar school. During the war, Frank travelled the world and survived his plane being shot down in India. After the war, Frank and Lil lived in Florida where he worked for the Federal Civil Service in the Flight Simulator program of the US Air Force. Frank helped to develop the Simulator program from its infancy to an essential component of pilot training in the Air Force today. The Morozoff family then moved to Oklahoma City when the program was transferred to Tinker Air Force Base. In 1970 the family moved to Altus, Oklahoma, where Frank worked at Altus Air Force Base. Frank retired from Civil Service and soon went to work for Flight Safety and later United Airlines, as they took over management of the program from the Air Force.
In addition to his successful career, Frank loved his family. Frank and Lil made it a priority to attend all the events involving their children and grand-children.
