Franklin Dean Williams was born on August 16, 1947 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to Paul Curtis Williams and Maurine (Billy) Williams. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School and after joining the military, he began working at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic.
Franklin had a love for landscaping, family gatherings and traveling. He was a fair weather fan of OU football and the OKC Thunder. He spent countless hours doing genealogy research working his way through 5 generations and discovered many family achievements. Franklin was extremely proud that his military legacy was inducted into three museums: the First Americans Museum, the Oklahoma History Museum and the National Museum of American History.
His father, Paul Curtis Williams and a brother, Paul C. Williams Jr., precede him in death.
Franklin’s memory will continue to be cherished by his mother, Maurine Williams, his daughter, Teresa Stowe and her husband Justin Stowe, his brother, Willard R. Williams and wife Janette Williams, his brother, James Pete Williams along with three grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces and three nephews.
