Gary Lee Henthorn

Gary Lee Henthorn, born August 16, 1955, passed away on August 16, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Wanda Henthorn; his stepmom, Maudie Henthorn; two sons, Darrell and Gary; and the love of his life, Donna Henthorn.

He is survived by his three children: Misty and husband Jeff Martinez of Warr Acres, Justin Henthorn of Oklahoma City, and Taylor Henthorn of Oklahoma City. He also leaves behind his three grandchildren, Tinley, Harper, and Addison, who were the light of his life, Alexis and Christian of Oklahoma City and four great grand kids Laeken, Raegen, Kinley and Kaeden. Also survived by his brother Steve and wife Janie Henthorn and his sister Kathy Haynes along with many nieces and nephews.

Gary started working as a body mechanic at just 18 years old and stuck with it faithfully until December 2024. He was hardworking, dependable, and known for always lending a hand. When he wasn’t working on cars, Gary was watching NASCAR or cheering on his Phillies.

More than anything, Gary will be remembered as a loyal, kind, and loving man. He was the best husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend anyone could ask for. His steady presence, quick laugh, and big heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

His hands may be at rest, but the love he gave lives on through his family, his friends, and all the lives he touched along the way.
