

Gaylen graduated from Marlow High School in 1958 and was a proud Marlow Outlaw. He attended Cameron University and received an Associate Degree from Rose State College.
Gaylen loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s events. He was a tax preparer in the Midwest City area for many years, and was passionate about his job, in which he made numerous friends. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, eating ice cream, cookies and JTs ribs, and cheating at the family game of Wahoo.
Gaylen was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kenneth and Monroe Williams, and Ethel “Sis” Worley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice LaDean (Moore) Williams; children, Mark Williams and wife Patricia, Gayla Williams, Leland Williams and wife Kay, and Charm Strickland and husband Chad; grandchildren; Marc and Mike Williams, Joshua Turner, Jennifer Ozimek, Jake and Logan Williams, Taryn Steele, Lake, Karis & Ily Strickland, Michael Carr, Amy Robinson, Emily Cavicchio-Boyd; great-grandchildren; Cash, Rilee, Emery, and Jace Williams, Christian Ozimek, Skylar, Charles, Jakobe and Kalia Turner, Kambria and Berklee Steele, Carter Cavicchio, Kinley Boyd, Dylan, Kaleb and Abby Robinson, Lileigh Carr; two sisters, Ruth Thompson and Pauline Jarreau and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Gaylen will forever be remembered for his big heart and wonderful sense of humor…..”Turn out the lights, the party is over!”…..
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Healing Hearts Health Clinic, 312 S. Midwest Blvd., MWC, OK 73110. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Midwest City, 705 East Rickenbacker. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
