Gelene and her husband Hollis were married for 64 years. They raised 4 children, Mary Jo and husband Larry Yarberry of St. Claire MO, Wayne Hassell of Harrah OK, Valerie and husband David Asner of Moore, OK and Lu Ann and husband Alfred Mason of Cape Fair MO.
Gelene had 5 grandchildren, Phillip Mason, Michael Hassell, Teresa Robertson, Nick Yarberry and Amanda Koelsch. She also had 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Tommi Locklear and Hope Ellington, and a brother Sonny Hammon.
