

George was retired from the Air Force and continued his federal service with a career at Tinker Air Force Base working in the Directorate of Maintenance. George married Betty Lou McDonald on June 2, 1951.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eleven siblings; and granddaughter, Shelley Scott. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Gammon; three children, George R Gammon and wife, Linda of Moore, Greg Gammon and wife, Carol of Moore, Bill Gammon of Del City; his sisters, Viola Shriver and husband, Jay of Waycross, GA and Margaret McGinnis of Clearwater, FL; twelve grandchildren, Jason Gammon, Angela Gammon, Jeremy Gammon and wife, Rita of Moore, Kevin Gammon and wife, Toya of Moore, Ryan Gammon and wife, Shay of Nicoma Park, Kristi Parker and husband, Geoff of Del City, Stephen Gammon of Moore, Chrissy Boydstun and husband, Brian of Arlington, TX, Jennifer Bost and husband, Brian of Portland, OR, Robert Gammon and wife Hannah of Denver, CO, Heather Deshazer and husband Mitch of Tecumseh and Dustin Gammon of Del City; Eleven great-grandchildren Embree, Hogan, Breck, Jastin, Colyn, Jazmine, Sebastian, Tinslee, Karleigh, Jasper and Xander. George loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings, watching the Atlanta Braves and OKC Thunder.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at First Southern Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
