

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was an original crew member of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk. Gerald loved his family and grandkids and was a member of the Plummer’s and Pipefitters Union, as well as the Pink Baptist Church for over 20 years. He enjoyed OU football, motorcycles, fishing, camping, and most of all chocolate! Some would say that Gerald was the best fudge maker there ever was.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Freeda Lee Bocher. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Kathy; sons, Jerry Reeves (Denise), Jeff Reeves (Robin), Tony Reeves (Cyndi); grandchildren, Ashley Sutton (Brandon Ray), Zac and Dylan Reeves, Justin Abbott (Trinity), Aryn Reeves, Haley Nealy (Matthew), Jesse, Jacob, Wade and McKenna Reeves; great-grandchildren, Gryffin Ray, Peighton and Olivia Nealy; sisters, Kathy “Kat” Carpenter, Helen Baker (Tom); and his beloved Australian Shepherd, Sally Mae.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Pink Baptist Church. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, McAlester, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
