Glenda Mae Brinkley

Glenda Mae Brinkley went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 71 on December 9, 2011. Glenda was born on October 22, 1940 in Thomas, OK., to Frank and Cleda Statser. Glenda was a long time resident of Norman, OK. Her love for the Lord and gospel music inspired her to become a pianist. She loved playing for family and friends since she was a child playing in her father’s church. She was a long time member and pianist at Grand Blvd. Baptist Church. The greatest joy in her life was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, Glenda will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband Odel.

Survived by 2 sons; Gary Stamp, and Michael Stamp and wife Michele of Norman, Step-daughter Katie Wallis and husband Buddy of OKC. 3 Grandsons; Michael and Mark Stamp of Norman, and Ricky Wallis of OKC. 1 Brother; Wesley Statser and wife Mary of Weatherford. 1 Sister Carol Pritchard and husband David of Cordell, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
