Gloria May Perkins, 89, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 27, 1922 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Alonzo Michael Spears, Sr and Nancy Emily (Copeland) Spears. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Constance “Connie” Hope Spears and Mary Emma Mandrell, half-brother Alonzo Michael Alonzo Spears, Jr and half-sisters Judy Elam and Leunah Beatty. She is survived by her husband Jack G. Perkins, nieces Marilyn G. Barnard, and Linda & Chris Steward, nephews Roger & Debbie Mandrell, Gene Mandrell, great nephews Rob Steward, Jeff Steward, Doug Mandrell and Zachary Barnard, great niece Jennifer Martinson, great great niece Veronica E. Lampe as well as half-sisters Nikki Harris, Shirley Ruedy, Cindy Spears Hess, Pat Murphy and Jane Barnes. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 8 am until 8 am at Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10 am at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
