Hazel Irene (Coddington) Bolz was born on June 4, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK to Walter and Mattie (Chastain) Coddington. Hazel, age 89, passed from this life on January 11, 2020. Hazel married Charles Kenneth Bolz on May 18, 1948. They began a family and had 4 children, Charles Jr., Belinda, Sharon and Sheila. She spent many years working with the Oklahoma City Public Schools as a cafeteria cook. Hazel loved to watch the University of Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. She took many vacations, some of her favorites were when she went to Las Vegas, Mexico and Texas. Hazel adored and cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and the quality time spent with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mattie Coddington, husband, Charles Kenneth Bolz, Son, Charles Kenneth Bolz Jr., brothers, Junior Coddington, Bill Coddington, Archie Coddington and Larry Coddington, one sister, Roberta Verner and husband, Don Verner. She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Bolz, Sharon Bryant and Sheila Bolding, daughter in law, Phyllis Bolz, grandchildren, Melanie Kirby, Michelle Bolz, Kimberlee Russell, Natosha Cagle, Alan Bolding, and Savannah Mars, great grandchildren, Ryan Orr, Jaiden Russell, Trenton Parsons, Nathen Stone, Kymari Russell, Trace Cagle, Makenzie Mars, Talan Mars, Aubrey Bolding and Camden Bolding, an aunt, Dorothy Price, and many nieces and nephews.
