Helen Marie Becker

Helen Marie (Holt) Becker was born in Dewey, Ok, September 10, 1913 and passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles Ted Becker, a daughter, Joann Reed, her parents James & Clara Holt, three sisters and a brother.

During World War II she was one of many rosie the riveters at Douglass Aircraft and later as a tool clerk at Tinker Air Force Base. She was a long-standing member of Bodine Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, Mother, Mother-in-law, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, and Sister-in-law; and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Marvel Miller and husband, Irven; a son, James Roy Becker and wife, Carol; 8 grandchildren: Lynda Garrett, Sherry Andrus, Bob Miller, Roxie Johnson, Dianna Preston, Wallace Reed, and James & Ronnie Becker; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 18 Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild.

A viewing will be held Wed., Feb16th from 4-8pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home SE in Del City. Services will be held Thu., Feb.17th at 10:00am, Bodine Baptist Church and burial following at Sunnylane Cemetery, Del City. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Helen Becker Memorial Fund at Bodine Baptist Church, 3501 SE 59TH St., OKC 73135.
