Rose was born September 21, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Virginia Maxine (Smith) Roby. Rose never met a stranger. A good Christian woman, she had a compassionate, selfless heart for helping others. Rose spent time reading the bible, caring for her animals, and socializing with family and friends. She loved feeding the ducks with her grandson and watching Dog the Bounty Hunter.
She is survived by her son Joshua John Swearingen, brother Charles Harvey and his wife Cindy, sister Charlotte Phares, and grandson Sean Wesley Swearingen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Billy Roby.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, Del City, Oklahoma.
