Irene Caroline Brown, born in Detroit, Michigan to Harley and Hertha Kratz, passed away in Midwest City, Oklahoma on July 11, 2014 at the age of 90. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Brownie” Brown. Irene was a librarian at Rose State College as well as a good cook. She enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, especially duck hunting. She was a member of a camera club and she enjoyed playing bingo and dominoes. Irene faithfully attended Tinker Air Force Base Chapel and ordered donuts for the Protestants. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She leaves behind a host of friends which include Dale and Elena Langley of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Her husband, Mr.Brown, gave Elena away when she married Dale.
Funeral Services will be held on July 16,2014 at 10:00a.m. at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma.
