

Irene Yanina Rosinski, 91, of Del City, OK went to be with her Heavenly father on February 11, 2015 and is now reunited with her loving husband of 59 years. Irene was born on May 24, 1923 in Ostrowy, Poland to Joseph and Veronica (Rorrat) Bienkowski.
At 17, she attended dressmaker school for 3 years in Genk, Belgium, then worked as a seamstress out of her home during World War II. In 1944 she met the love of her life, a US soldier named Jerome Rosinski. They were united in marriage on May 5, 1945 in Zwarberg, Belgium and remained happily married until his death, January 4, 2005. During their marriage they were stationed in Germany and Belgium, as well as many cities in the US. In 1970, Jerome retired and they had resided in Del City, OK ever since. Irene loved to play bingo and travel, having gone on 16 cruises all over the world, but her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her children; Elaine Mosca (Philip) of Edmond, OK, and Shirley Tucker of Yukon, OK, Joseph Rosinski (Barbara) of Minot, ND, and John Rosinski (Julie) of Choctaw, OK; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Bienkowski of Belgium; and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerome; and brother, Stephan Bienkowski. Irene was a member of the Air Force Sergeant’s Association Auxiliary, a member of the St. Paul Apostle Church and has requested any memorial donations be made to the Del City meals on Wheels c/o the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
