Grandma,

You were the perfect grandma, you were what we all needed in life. Because of you, I now know that Sundays are for after church naps while the house smells like leftover breakfast... that we could never miss a meal while we were there... and no one wants to miss the Indian tacos. I loved when you would tell me I looked just like my mama, but sweeter. :) you loved your grand babies and great grand babies ! You had the most warm soul. Some of the best memories took place at your home. I love you grandma, and we are missing you! Hug mama for me. And as always I love you, a bushel and a peck.

I love every single memory I have of and with you, Grammy. From being little and playing at your house with all the cousins, rummaging through your food pantry, hanging out with Grampy in the garage, your salt and pepper collection, your comfortable bed and cinnamon toothpaste. Hehe. You’ve always been the best grandmother. So kind, comforting and warm. Thank you for always taking care of me. I love you very much.

Grammy, Everyone else called you Grandma. Not me. You’ll forever be my Grammy and now you’re home with Grampy. You had such a life filled with children and love. That’s the best part of life! I’ll always remember our talks at Mother’s house in your room and the kitchen table. I’ll remember the picture you colored for me and signed your name on that I keep in my memory tote. When you told me stories about the old days sharing beds with siblings and how you had so many! The way you would giggle when you saw how tall and grown my kids had gotten. When you made a comment about a handsome cowboy in the room, referring to Will. These are just a few memories that pop into my mind when I think of you. The most memorable times were with family all together at the house. All the cousins, aunts, sisters and brothers just spending time or having Indian tacos and celery with raisins. You’ll forever be in my heart. You’ll forever be missed and I’m forever grateful for the time I got to share with you. We love you, Grammy!

This was on one of the times you and grandpa took Eric and Richard and I to the red barn pecan orchard, and driving around we were stopped at the lake in this photo

Grandma you will be very missed, we love you so much. I'm so glad that I had a grandma like you. You were always there for me. I’m always going to remember planting the garden with you and grandpa. All the cook outs and just sitting around hanging out with you and grandpa. My kids loved you so much as well as you did them.
