December 25, 1928 - March 2, 2014
Daddy went home to be with our Savior. He was a wonderful and generous man who loved his family. He was born the middle child of five to Earnest and Rosie Sudik, a Christmas Miracle, weighing only 2 pounds. He was a loving and understanding husband of 58 years to Roena, the greatest Daddy on earth to Sherry (Jack) Ellington, Sandra (David) Dewberry, and Jackie Jr. (Cathy), Paw or Pawpaw to 7 doting grandkids, 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandbabies.
Daddy didn't talk a lot, but when he did you listened in interest. His stories were wonderful! He always said he didn't get a lot of "book learnin" (although he did graduate from Moore High School) he could figure out anything. He was a Christian man who lived by the golden rule, and had a smile that lit up the room and make you feel special.
After serving in the Army he went to work at Tinker, but always the hardworking man he was, he also worked as a custodian at Sunnylane Baptist Church for many years, and was there to open the doors for every service. He bought a game room in Tuttle, then opened one in Del City before retiring. After retirement, he "studied the horses" and learned to play Baccarat really well.
He was preceded by his parents, his sister Emily and 3 brothers, Bob, Jim and Bill
He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, his youngest brother Lee Sudik, and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, interment with Military Honors will be at Czechoslovakian National Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
