Jackie Edward Slover was born to Charles and Noma Slover on Oct 13, 1936. He passed away on Mar 25, 2013. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jimmy Slover. Jackie is survived by his wife, Paula Ann Thompson-Slover; children, Jackie Dean Slover and wife Renee of Wewoka, Terry Wayne Slover and wife Sandi of OKC, Jimmy Ray Slover and wife Tammy of OKC, Jeremy Slover of Edmond, and Danny Slover of Edmond; along with nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A retired Oklahoma City Police Officer, Jackie will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, Thursday, March 28 at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.

May God Bless you all and give you strength to endure your loss. I am sorry he didn't get to reunite with his Grandson Marc Dean Slover. Jack was always sweet to me and my family and I will always remember him fondly.

So sorry to hear about your loss. God cares so deeply about us that he has gone to great lengths to make the fulfillment of his purpose a certainty. (John 3:16). One of his promises is no more death.
