Although we always lived across the miles, my Mom, my Uncle June and my Aunt Noreen made sure I got to grow up knowing my cousin Val. The picture of the three of you sat in our homes and I just loved it, along with the blessing of spending one special summer with my cousin. Thankful my Mom, Aunt, and Uncle made that happen and those special memories carried into adulthood connection across the continued miles. Val loved her Daddy, such a Daddy’s girl and having grown up a Mommy’s girl, I always treasured seeing her in that light. I share this picture I took of my Uncle and his siblings at the home going of his beloved brother, my Uncle Bunk. There’s a picture of the two of them that will always stick out in my mind of them standing out at Uncle Bunk’s truck. The way I will choose to remember them both. Sending love to you all. My heart is with you.
