You are the best type of person, let alone a father, i have ever seen in my entire life. You are giving, thoughtful, caring, funny, one of the smartest people ill ever know. You always knew what to say to me and how to say it, even if i didnt want you to. You literally taught me everything i know. If i could be anybody at all besides myself i would choose you. Your made of everything thats good in people. Thank you for being my DAD. I will always be grateful and ill try my best to be just as good to my son. Berkley James Stovall. James is always going to be with me. I am lucky to have had him as a brother for 31 years. He is missed and loved by me and the entire Stovall family.

James will be greatley missed was always there when you needed him. His heart was as big as they come.We have so many good times and memories that will never be forgotten. I didn't know James, but I do know his sister Michelle and through her I knew James was a great brother and family man.  My sympathies are with his entire family for their loss.

My prayers are with Stovall's family.  I was at a loss for words when I heard of his passing.  Stovall and I spent many a hour side by side on the football field our favorite play was 22 blast where him and I got to demolish the defender over James.  He was a good friend.  
I lift up all of the family and friends in prayer during this time.

Well, it doesn't happen often but I am at a loss for words. You were my "protector" when I needed it in Jr. High and High School. We were close friends through those years and like many other friends we lost touch. I am sad about that. But I know that I shall see you again. Until then.....drink a beer.... Love ya James

I cannot put anything into words, to realize how much in shock it is to me that you are gone. You were such an inspiration to many. I remember you from baseball games and such, the ones you use to coach with my Uncle Brian and my Dad. You were such a good daddy to those kids, and they love you beyond measure. Hope you're flying high, I'll see you some day my friend.

Though I went to school with James, I never had any classes with him and never had the chance to get to know him personally.  We have many mutual friends, though, and I have never heard anyone say anything disparaging or unkind about him.  My heart breaks for his family and friends.  For all those who grieve the loss of your friend and loved one, I pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding during this difficult loss.

James was a student in my 6th grade class at East Side Elementary. I absolutely loved James. If you were putting a boy together, you'd get James. Although I had not seen James since 6th grade, he was in my husband's shop class at CAJH, and we both agree that James was a great kid. I can see him in my mind as that grade school student going full steam ahead with a twinkle in his eye. Praying you find peace during this difficult time.

James you were such a strong man with the biggest heart I've ever seen. I love you like a dad, we lost touch over years, but I'll never forget the times I spent with you and the things you taught me like how to bet on a football game like a professional lol.
First time I ever went to a car auction with you, you showed me on tricks and techniques then after we left we had a flat tire. Haha...  Ima miss you and I'm positive you'll missed and loved by many.

I have know James since I was a lil one he was a great guy and a great baseball coach he will missed  i ll never forget going inside Carl Albert's field house and always trying to find James picture on the wall

My dear friend may you rest in peace ! From the diamond, the field and the mat you were always a force to reckon with !! From us traveling wrestling to tearing up that football field , the memories I will cherish ! This world has lost a good one !!

Can still picture Stovall hitting bombs over the fence at 10yrs old. Highschool wrestling matches were the best when it came down to the last match, nobody was worried. "THE STOVALL ROLL WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP"  RIP James gonna miss you.

Though we lost contact, I am deeply saddened by James' passing. He was one of my best friends growing up, and my childhood has many fond memories with him. At our 6th grade graduation, I received an award titled, the "Watch me make James Stovall mad Award," while he received the "Watch me crush Capt Kirk Award." My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and family, and he will be greatly missed.

I am so saddened by this.  I remember so many baseball games that we parents attended and how much fun the kids had together.  Also some fishing "attempts" . Condolences to family.

I was heartbroken when I found out!  I'll always remember your huge smile and good sense of humor! RIP my old friend! May love, prayers, and God's healing hand comfort & protect your family!
