Jamie Reed

Jamie Lynn Reed was called home and reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on July 30, 2026, after a long battle with COPD. She was born January 6, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Geneva Woods and James “Paul” Jarnagan.

Jamie spent most of her life in Oklahoma City, where she attended Crooked Oak Schools. Throughout her life, she worked in a variety of roles, but her favorite was waitressing at Skyline and Mama Lou’s, where she formed countless friendships and was loved by many.

Jamie married twice and was blessed with two children, who later gave her three grandchildren. Being “Mema” was one of her greatest joys, and she treasured every moment she spent spoiling them.

Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Bruner; father, James “Paul” Jarnagan; stepfather, Harvey Bruner; sisters, Kyna Higginbotham and Laura Kirkpatrick; granddaughter, Nova Lynn Reed; and nephew, Achilles Tanner.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Brandi Jefferies and husband Toby, Joey Reed and wife Destiny; grandchildren, Lathan Jefferies, Pryce Jefferies, and Ari Reed; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and friends whose lives she touched.
