Jeffery Daniel Henderson

Jeffery fought a long and courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He loved gaming and made numerous friends around the world through this connection. He was a huge Star Wars fan and collected Star Wars memorabilia, Hot Wheels and die cast cars.

His proudest moments were when he met the actors from Star Wars episodes 1 and 2 and anytime he was able to conquer a new game.

Jeffery is survived by his father and mother: Billy and Ada Henderson of the home; a sister Laura Dennis and husband Jeremy of Stonewall, Louisiana. Nephews: Kamden and William Dennis; Aunts: Jane Jordan and husband Jack, Pat Dowlen and husband Chris, Judy Olinger and husband Tom, Carol Shipman, Pat Sinclair & husband Kenneth; Uncles: Lowell Jones and wife Ellen, Donald “Chico” Jones and wife Jimmie; several cousins, other family and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents John and Margaret Ames and grandparents William & Imogene Henderson; his Aunt Mary Ames, Uncle Harold Shipman and Cousin Shaun Patrick Dowlen.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, Del City, Oklahoma.
