

Jeremy Paige Bridges was born August 23, 1981 in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of James Paige and Ledora Bridges. He went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years.
Jeremy was raised in Jackson, MS where he graduated from John W. Provine High School in 1999. He received an Associate degree from Hinds Community College and later attended Traxler Barber College.
Jeremy attended church all of his life and was required to take notes in church as evidence that he was listening. He loved bible study. At the age of 17 he united with St. Luther Missionary Baptist Church and later Mt. Galilee Baptist where he accepted the call to Ministry in 2008 under the leadership of Reverend Ohwofasa Monday. Jeremy became a member of First Pentecostal Church (FPC) while in Jackson. Since being in Oklahoma, Jeremy united with Calvary Christian Center and served faithfully until his departure.
In 2012, Jeremy met the love of his life, Gloria Silva, and they began their love story. On October 26, 2013 they were joined together in marriage in Mustang, Oklahoma. Jeremy had many hobbies. He enjoyed flipping furniture and Gloria always had a project for him to do. He LOVED Ole’ Miss football. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano and organ. Jeremy was a talented barber and had a goal of one day owning his own barber shop, Sims Flip and Clip.
First and foremost, Jeremy was a true man of God. He enjoyed preaching and loved and lived the Word of God daily. He had a servant’s heart and ministered to many. He lived his life to worship and pray for his family and friends. Jeremy was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. If he knew you, he prayed for you and loved you with everything he had. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved Gloria and loved to dance with her and for the Lord. He loved church, his church family and his pastors. Jeremy joins in heaven his cousin, Shameka Brown, his grandfathers, Sim Bridges and James Paige, Sr., his maternal grandmother, Vera Bridges, and his Aunt Berniece Bridges Culver.
Jeremy leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Gloria Bridges; daughter Penelope Jean Bridges, and cousin Brennan Shaw all of the home; his mother, Ledora Bridges; father and stepmother, James and Mitzi Paige, all of Jackson, Mississippi; sisters, Quanda Price and her husband Gerald of Killeen, Texas; Bria Paige and twins Kellyn and Amber Paige all of Jackson; special Aunts, Nellie (Betty) Simmons of Tylertown, MS and Francis Bridges; grandmother, Myrea Paige both of Jackson; mother-in-love, Renisa Thomas of Oklahoma City; sisters-in-love, Leticia Silva and her fiancé Reggie Taylor, Mikayla Jordan (his chunky monkey) and AnnaMarie Jordan (his baby girl); his father-in-law, Tony Thomas and wife Aimee of Cedar Hill, Texas; brother-in-law, Ashton Thomas and sister-in-law, Georgia Thomas; his best friends, Ernest Alexander, Jeff Stewart, Terrance Holmes and Calvin Green; his fur baby, Bella Brown Bridges, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Calvary Christian Center, 3900 Epperly Drive, Del City, OK. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1pm at Calvary Christian Center. Services will be live Streamed via Facebook from Calvary Christian Center.
