Jimmie attended high school in Mobile Alabama, and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1949. He served 18 months in Korea during the Korean War. Upon returning to the States, he was assigned to Tinker Air Force Base where he met and married Mary Jo Brown. Together they raised two children, Dale Lee and Kelly Ann, while serving at several Air Force installations. Upon his retirement from the Air Force in 1969 they returned to Midwest City, and then to Harrah, OK. Jimmie was employed by U.S. Plywood/Champion International for 15 years. In 1984 he embarked on a new career as an independent real estate appraiser, a vocation he enjoyed until he retired in 2010.
He was our rock, always able to solve almost any problem or crisis.
Preceded in death by his parents; James Davis, Ruby Musser, stepfather Frank Musser; sister, Christine Smith; and grandson, Clinton Close.
Survived by son, Dale Lee Davis; daughter, Kelly Ann Neher; sister, Shona Moore; and eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
