Jimmie Lee Spence

Jimmie Lee Spence, age 63 of Bethany passed away February 13, 2013. Jimmie was born August 4, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Willis Troy and Viola Jean (Watson) Spence. Jimmie graduated from Southeast High school in 1968 and after graduating he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, with an honorable discharge on February 1, 1970. Jimmie was a member in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he loved football, car racing and his Harley. Jimmie was a wonderful son, father, grandfather and brother, with his proudest moment being when his granddaughter Jillian was born. Jimmie is survived by his children: Angie Bowles and husband Will Bowles of Sugar Land, Texas, Joe Spence of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brother Jerry Spence of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sister Patricia and husband Tommy Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, four nieces, three nephews, eight great nieces, two great nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday February 18, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, Del City, Oklahoma with interment at Dale Cemetery, in the City of Dale, Oklahoma.
