

JoAnn was a very loving wife and mother that enjoyed taking care of her family. She was very patriotic and enjoyed sewing patches on uniforms for her husband and fellow soldiers. JoAnn loved to crochet, care for children, and spend time with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jerry Nation. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Jack Nation; children, Janet Pifer (Ed), James Nation (Kathy), John Nation (Lisa); siblings, Ruby L. Smith, Betty McClain (Gerald), Paul Lewis (Roseann), Teresa Greenough (Jerry), Shirley Tiller (Larry); grandchildren, Marcus, Bill, Chad, Karl, Miranda, Brittany, Chloee, Sophia; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special little Chihuahua, Sugar.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Sunnylane Family Church.
