

Glen attended Central High School in Phenix City, AL and graduated in 1978. He met Jo Ann Pattillo and they became high school sweethearts and would later marry on March 21, 1981. Glen worked at Vance Memorial Funeral Home as an Apprentice in Phenix City from 1989 until September 1998. Glen and Jo Ann moved to Oklahoma in 2002 where he has worked in the funeral business. In September 2015, Glen celebrated his 10 years with SCI. He enjoyed watching Atlanta Falcons Football, Auburn, the OKC Thunder, and the Atlanta Braves. Glen loved taking cruises with his family and had a passion for serving the youth in his church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jo Ann; children, Jacob Polk and wife, Kara, Elizabeth Polk; brothers, Guy “Bink” Polk and wife, Kimberly, Ernie Polk and wife, Yael; and aunt, Dorothy Battle and husband, Edward.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.
