Jonathon “Jon” Franks, 42, of Del City, passed away March 27, 2019 at his home. He was born September 26, 1976 in Oklahoma City. Jon had lived in Oklahoma City most of his life. He enjoyed playing in pool leagues, camping, fishing, drawing, and painting. He was a very devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews and enjoyed attending their t-ball games and motorcycle races. He was also very devoted to encouraging and mentoring his cousins. Jon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Garvin Franks; uncle, Randy Franks and a cousin, Angie Ochoa. He is survived by his mother, Sherri Maguire of Oklahoma City; grandmother, Patricia Franks of Del City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Misty and Jonathan Raper of Oklahoma City and Becky and Aaron Barton of Haymarket, Virginia; nephews and nieces, Jace and Colin Raper and Megan, Andrew, and Madison Barton; aunts and uncles, Crystal and Joe Chappell, Sandy Bates, Greg Franks, and Melanie Copeland.
