

The family moved to Midwest City, OK, where he attended school and was captain of the football team. He was also Homecoming King one of those years. Other activities he enjoyed in school included track and wrestling. He eventually graduated from Midwest City High School in 1972.
He married Donna on June 24, 1989, and they had one daughter, Tanya. He worked as a truck driver off and on for a few years before ultimately settling down in a warehouse position where he retired in January 2013.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed going hunting with his daughter and fishing with his brother all the way I not his older years. He also enjoyed going out to the casino or out to eat with friends and family. But, the one thing he loved the most, is his grandkids.
Joe is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Tonya and son-in-law, Jordan; grandchildren, Myah, Astrid, and Thorsen; siblings, Barbara, Freda, and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Mary Ann; siblings, Liz and Tim; and a few other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK.
