Kathryn Elizabeth Saunders passed away Aug. 21, 2007 at the age of 76. She was born Apr. 23, 1931. She had lived in this area since 1970. Kathryn was Commander of the Women's Auxilirary of Disabled American Vets, Chapter # 39 for several years. She was a vocalist & pianist and went dancing 2-3 times a week for the last 10 years. She loved holidays, expecially Christmas. She was a wonderful mother & grandmother. She also enjoyed fishing. Kathryn is survived by her son Joe Saunders & wife Lydia, daughters Teresa Davenport & husband Rick, Rebecca Milam & grand puppies Rosie & Chico; grandchildren Travis Taylor & finance Christine Lyman, Blake Taylor & fiance Casey Mappes, Chelsea Brown and husband Josh, Cali Saunders and fiance Casey Williams, Anna-Marie Saunders, Tyler Saunders & Marshall Henry Elliott; great grandchildren Kenneth Brown & Caleb Williams; and brother Wesley Henry & wife Lola. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Lester Saunders, granddaughter Lindsey Rebecca Milam and sister Wanda Hughes. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2007 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery
