
Kathy was born on August 20, 1946 in Orlando, Florida. Throughout her life, she was known for her generous heart, her spirited personality, and her fierce devotion to her family. Strong-willed, loyal, and protective, Kathy was the definition of a mama bear. She never hesitated to stand up for the people she loved and spent her life making sure her family was cared for.
Having experienced hardship during her younger years, Kathy never forgot the importance of helping others. She carried a deep compassion for those in need and was always looking for ways to make life a little easier for someone else. Her generosity was evident in both grand gestures and quiet acts of kindness that touched countless lives.
Nothing meant more to Kathy than her family. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life. She celebrated their accomplishments, supported them through challenges, and cherished every moment spent together.
Kathy shared 46 years with her beloved husband, Mickey Stevens. Together they built a life filled with family, perseverance, laughter, and love. Through every season of life, they stood faithfully by one another's side.
As a military wife, Kathy demonstrated strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family. She embraced the challenges and sacrifices of military life, creating a loving and stable home wherever life took them. Through every move and season of uncertainty, she remained a constant source of support.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ossie Moss and Norman Moss; her sister, Juanita Reimuth; her sister, Eva Jean Griffin; her niece, Dawn Moss and her brother, Russell Walter Moss.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mickey Stevens; her children, Kim Jones and Joe Sanders; her stepsons, Jason Stevens, Justin Stevens, and Joshua Stevens; her grandchildren, Adrian, Chance and Tara, Katie, Cody, Skyla, Evan, Harlee, Jaxon, Julie, Jett, Max, and Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Keenan, Vanessa, Phoenix, and Zander; her brother, Edward Moss; her sister-in-law, Sheila Moss; nieces Trina, Tammy, Deborah, Venus, Shawn, Rebecca, and nephews Duane and Dwayne, and many other relatives and friends who were blessed by her love and friendship.
Though her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Kathy is finally at peace. The challenges of her final years are behind her, and her loving spirit is free from pain and suffering.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman whose kindness, strength, and generosity touched countless lives.
Kathy's legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely, the values she instilled, and the countless acts of kindness she shared throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, Oklahoma.
A Reception following the service will take place at the Bill Eisenhour Event Center, 3900 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma.
