Katie loved being around people and especially loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed embroidery, watching westerns and Family Feud, and playing cards or dominoes. Katie loved the Lord with all her heart and could often be found studying the Bible.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude McCarn; granddaughter, Trina Lopez; siblings, Vance and Leonard Nailon, Earl Ketner, and Wilda Nailon. Survivors include her loving daughter, Diana Lopez and husband, Marcus; grandchildren, Kendra Iliff and husband, Dustin, Melissa Blackard and husband, Lucas; great grandchildren, Taylan Iliff, Kaden Barker, Korbin Blackard, Parker Iliff, Keely, Kenslee, and Kruz Blackard; siblings, Lenora Russell, Polly Bryan and husband, Jerry, and Ruby Nailon.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Highway of Holiness Full Gospel Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
