Kenneth Dale Price

Kenneth Dale Price passed away on Saturday surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 27, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK. Kenneth was the son of Carl & Wava (Jones) Price. He worked for General Motors for 27 years, retiring in 2006. He married the love of his life, Shannon Couch, in 2002.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and friend, always putting others before himself. His generous, fun spirited heart touched the lives of many.

He was an avid pool player belonging to numerous area leagues and a member of the American Pool Association. Ken coached and guided his team to be successful players. Some of his greatest pool memories were winning 2004 Nationals in Las Vegas. His favorite tournaments were played in Kansas City, Missouri, Tunica, Mississippi and Dallas, Texas.

Ken was definitely a car enthusiast, with a love of Classic American Cars. He enjoyed cruising and car shows. He loved to buy and fix up cars in his free time. His favorites were his ’67 GTO and ’69 Chevelle SS. He also enjoyed taking his Redneck Racing bus with his buddies to Nascar races. He coached his boys in football and baseball, and enjoyed spending quality time at the cabin with his family.

Ken especially enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren. He taught them both how to ride ATV’s and enjoyed playing catch with his grandson, Austin. He always referred to his granddaughter Vivian as “his girl”. He recently took them on a road trip in his RV to New Mexico making life long memories with their Papa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl and sister Carol. He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon of 14 years; sons, Nick (wife, April) and Kevin (wife, Andi); mother, Wava; brother, Robert; two grandchildren, Austin and Vivian; and a host of other relatives and friends.
