Kennie Dawayne Justice was born August 23, 1943 to Vero Justice and Ida Clanton Justice in Eufaula, OK. The Lord sent his angels to escort Kennie home on December 19, 2021. Kennie attended Mustang High School where he graduated in 1961. He was married in 1963 and became the father of four daughters. He began a career in truck driving and retired from Roadway after 28 years of service. During his time there he won awards for top truck driver in the state then went on to compete in nationals. Even after retirement Kennie never stopped working. He had several different jobs including at ETI allowing him to travel across the country, Also, at Jones Academy, where he took on the grandpa role to several children. He married the love of his life, Wanda on September 15, 1983 and the two of them joined their families together as one. Kennie’s favorite thing to do was travel. He saw beauty in everything, especially the mountains, sunrises, and sunsets. He had the biggest servant’s heart and helped anyone he could.
Kennie is preceded in death by his parents Vero and Ida Justice, brother Darrell Justice, son Warren Simpson, and great-granddaughter Sterling Simpson. He leaves behind his wife, Wanda Justice of the home, sister Marcine Wallis of Minco, children Dena Justice of Purcell, Dana Justice of Noble, Dawn and Randy Green of Purcell, Misti Justice of Noble, Robin and Mark Howard of Edmond, Jaymi Hice and Raymond Slinker both of Oklahoma City, along with 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and several others who knew and loved him.
