Kevin Dale Davis Sr. was born on September 13, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Wayne Donald Davis and Wanda Joy (Cockrell) Davis. After fifty-four years of touching lives he departed from this earth to live forever in the Lord’s house. Kevin was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Teresa Ann Bonds. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Davis; three children: Kevin Dale Davis Jr. and wife Kasandra, Jeffrey Allen Davis and Allison Billy, and Christie Davis and Bryan Shelton; fourteen grandchildren; his mother Wanda Mitchell; Kevin’s step-father, Jim Mitchell; 5 siblings; and a host of family members and friends.
Kevin was an amazing father, son and friend, but above all he was a devoted husband and hopelessly in love with Teresa. He and Teresa met and wed at a very young age, Teresa was only 15 and he was the definition of a strapping young soldier. Kevin loved Teresa so much that there was nothing these two could not endure together. To this marriage where born three children that would follow in Kevin’s military footsteps. Kevin was so proud of his children and would do anything for them. Kevin was the type of person that just rubbed people the right way, someone you could always depend on. Kevin was what every woman hopes her husband to be for their family: he was a handy man, a protector and defender, a good judge of moral character, and proud, but above all he loved his family with an unmatched passion. Kevin was also mechanically inclined and a jack of all trades, he mainly worked as a machinest. He also enjoyed fishing, nature and hiking, especially in Colorado’s Garden of the God’s. He was an avid reader and was currently reading the Star Trek Books, and yes he was a “Treky”. Kevin your strength is untouched and your love larger than life, thank you for providing us with these qualities so that we may live our lives knowing that you have found peace and comfort. We love you.
