

Kittrick Denone Johnson, Jr. was born February 24, 1995, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Donna Jane Shuffield and Kittrick Denone Johnson, Sr. Kit was a senior at Midwest city High School. Kit could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. Kit’s life was cut way too short, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He had a gentle smile that would light up a room.
Kit loved his family and friends. He also had a passion for helping others and motor cycles. He once said, “Riding my motor cycle is like flying free.” Kit also enjoyed skateboarding, video games and craiglist. He found love for working and saving his money for his motor cycles and hobbies. Kit loved to give to others and to make sure they were taken care of. He was employed by Crest Foods on Douglas in Midwest City, OK.
Kit leaves to cherish his memories: both of his parents, Donna Jane Shuffield, Kittrick D. Johnson, Sr. both of Oklahoma City, three sisters, Diamond D. Asberry, Katon K. Johnson, and Kallie J. Johnson all of Midwest City, OK; one brother, Deonte A. Thomas of Edmond, OK; Mitchell Crawford, Preston Crawford; Grandparents: Johnnie and Irene Shuffield all from Prague, OK. Kit has a host of aunts and uncles: Tracy Crawford which preceded him in death, Stella Smith, from Oakland, CA, Terri Tharp and Ella Tharp, both of Midwest City, Ethan Tharp of Beggs, OK; Carlton Tharp, Artemus Tharp of Oklahoma City. OK. Keith Tharp of Midwest City, OK; and his girlfriend Ashley Berry. Kit’s extended family Bobbi Ellis, Donna Tyra, Jawayna Marshall all of Jones, OK; Kenneth Marshall, Gage Tyra, Kaleb Marshall, Tatelyn Marshall Kyrra Johnson of Spencer, OK, Jada White of East St. Louis, Il; Fannie Dixon of Collinsville, IL; Johnny (Laverne) Johnson of Florissant, MO; all of Midwest City, OK; Kevin (Sally) Johnson of Olympia, WA; Cory (Patricia) Strotter, Lemoyne White, Shaquille White of East St. Louis, IL; Kele Johnson of Springfield, MO, and a host of cousins, family members, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Del City. The interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
