

Kristi Renee Pewitt, age 52, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on August 1, 2024. Born on January 18, 1972, in Oklahoma City to Janet C. Thomas and Kenneth Thomas Sr., Kristi's life was a testament to love, joy, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Kristi is survived by her eldest son, Kyle R. Howell; her daughters, Tayler M. Neering and Karri R. Rehrig, along with her spouse Michael Rehrig. She also leaves behind her sisters, Kimberly A. Thomas and Jo Harris with spouse Carolyne; and brothers, Kenny Thomas with spouse Nening Thomas, Kyle Brashears, and Kerry Brashears. Kristi was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Jaiden, Korbyn, Weston, Laila, Maverick, Hudson, Noah, and Hope. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Janet C. Thomas and Kenneth Thomas Sr., her sister, Jill Ann Harris, and her brother, Kevin Thomas.
Kristi’s children were the absolute most important part of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love for her family was fierce, and she was always eager to share stories about them with anyone she met. Known for her warmth and kindness, Kristi never met a stranger and was loved by many.
A master cosmetologist with 35 years of experience, Kristi was known across Oklahoma as the "Blonde Magician." She had a true passion for her work, inspiring others with her talent and dedication. Kristi's vibrant personality and infectious smile lit up every room she entered. She was always dancing, singing, and uplifting those around her with her positive spirit.
An avid sports fan, Kristi was the OU Sooners’ biggest fan and could talk endlessly about her beloved team. Her enthusiasm for the Sooners was matched only by her love for her family.
Funeral services will be held on August 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunny Lane Funeral Home and Cemetery in Del City, with Pastor Stefan Reed officiating. Donations in Kristi's memory can be made to the family’s GoFundMe or directly to the funeral home.
